I was tempted with the Shepherd Neame Strong Ale. Any one know if it's any good?

  Yep, I am enjoying it. Its a good classic strong ale and the 500ml bottle really satisfies :). The Hook Norton Twelve Days and Adnams Broadside are also great dark beers.

FWIW, you can mix and match the 4pk/$18 but have to be the same brewery i.e. 2x strong ale & 2x IPA from Shepherd Neame. I tried that last week.

Broadside is one of my top three English ales. (Wye Valley's Butty Bach and St Austell's Tribute being the other two)

The Spitfire ale is also excellent if you want to try that.
