I'm a fan of Philips LEDs - their warm white globes are perfect for me, not too yellow like Osram, a cooler warm if you will. Very pleasant on my eyes.
$3.25 per globe is a great price. Normally you only get "Click" rubbish at Bunnings for this price. 1055 lumens is decent brightness too.
I'll be stocking up. Whilst smart globes have their place, these ones are great for all the places you don't need smart globes.
Agreed. However in my new place all the lights here are downlights, and Philips don't seem to make one. I'm not sure which downlights have similar pleasant colour with the Philips.

I don't think the bulb can be replaced by itself, need to replace the entire unit.
Yep just choose "warm white" 3000K
Just noticed these ones at Woolies are "2700k" and not "3000k" like other models Philips does.
There's definitely a noticable difference. 3000k is so much nicer - a white white, that's not blue/cold, but gets rid of that yellow feel that 2700k has.
I might now take back the 2700k for a refund and find 3000k versions, even if I have to pay a bit more. It'll be worth it.
Don't just check "soft white" or "warm white", but also check the kelvin rating.
11W, warm or cool white, Edison 27mm or bayonet 22mm … you might want to add. Dumb though - no bluetooth, wifi or zigbee.
