      It doesn't seem that long ago hand sanitiser was selling for so much the router would have been the throw in.

    •

      Definite selling point.

  •

    Is this a good router?

    Let's say compared to the following
    * Synology RT2600AC AC2600
    * ASUS RT-AC68U
    * TP-Link Archer C4000

      This is wifi 6 which brings significant improvements

      •

        You'll also need to keep in mind the receiving devices need ax support to make use of the increased speed

      •

        how do you compare it to TP-Link AX3000?

    •

      Yes. Aimesh is great.

  •

    Lmao, you missed the hand sanitzer boat by a couple of months.

    Why it's so expensive here? Only $150 in China, if I had to pay the price difference, better get xiaomi ax3600 for $140 on Aliexpress ($120 in China)

    •

      The Xiaomi one isn't as good as ASUS.

      •

        Yeah I agree, for the same price I would pick ASUS, but is the ASUS more than 2x better?

        •

          Referring to the JD.com price, there's no much difference. JD uses UPS to deliver to Australia, much faster than the Cainiao post that the AliExpress normally uses. You pay bit premium to get fast delivery, 10 days vs 60 days.

            @Dhpongelc: I am referring to this deal, you are referring to ppl comparing prices from JD.com. FYI what does "if I had to pay the price difference" mean to you?

            •

              @rainbowyen: Why did you ask "Why it's so expensive here", then you posted a JD link? Why don't you compare apple to apple? Both JD and Ali are shipping from China. Is that the logic behind?

  •

    this or the rt86u which is around the same price? all my devices are ac atm but is it worth getting this for future proofing?

    Harris tech use Fastway , my parcel said Out for delivery since last Thursday but still nothing.

    They can only message depot to request urgent delivery but they can't call them to see what is going on.

    Not the first time happened with Fastway

    •

      Judging by the reviews you’re not the only complaining about them…

        If Amazon allow me to select I will select auspost.

      •

        Chat with Amazon, they agreed to refund me.

        Ordered from eBay with current 15% off, actually cheaper.

        I have a feeling it may suddendly appear.

      •

        Ordered again from azeshop 15% off deal on eBay but they shipped from fastway again

        Oh damn 😫

      •

        Today fastway said my Amazon Parcel out for delivery again (already received refund) but still nothing 5pm here.

        But received my azeshop's parcel from fastway express delivery.

    Any ideas how this compares to the Huawei ax3 pro?

  • +1 vote

    Just bought a Huawei Wifi 6 router for $93.00.
    It is great. Very happy.
    Why would I need sanitizer?

    • +8 votes

      You don’t, the Huawei has the CCP sanitiser baked in the hardware.

      • +2 votes

        Hahaha, be carefull, all hardware made in Chine has CCP sanitiser baked inside.
