Yes they cut tomato really well as they are sharp. Just not as easy to get really thin slices as you would with a sharp non-serrated utility knife due to their flexibility and size

so although they are marketed as steak knives these are also great as utility knives around the kitchen. Go look in a commercial/restaurant/cafe kitchen sometime and you'll probably see one of these being used
Guys we generally keep knives sharp using on chopping boards but would these go blunt real quick using on a plate as a steak knife?
