  only 2 layer fabric?? it is recommended to have a 3 layer mask .. especially at this price!

    Hey Cereal - The recommended 3 layers is for plain cotton / cloth masks without any hydrophobic treatment - these masks are specialised hydrophobic masks. They use a blend of polyester and lycra in addition to a hydrophobic treatment to make sure it has excellent filtration capability while still being more breathable than regular cloth masks.   I bought some the last time around and found them to be loose even with a figure 8 knot around the ear.

  For comparison I found the Cotton On ones too tight.

  How come they are now $40 off - resulting in a delivered price of $49.94 for five, when your previous deal - www.ozbargain.com.au/node/559145 - saw them selling for $49.99 after only a $30 discount?

  How come the extra $10 discount has resulted in just a 5c price drop, at a time when PPE prices are plummeting?

  I love a "super popular" deal as much as the next Ozbargainer, but I call shenanigans on this one…

  How comfortable are these when pulled down below the chin? That's how I'm wearing mine now while I'm walking, outside in the fresh air by myself, social distancing, drink bottle in hand - zero chance of transmitting or catching.

  I bought one of these last time, it's good but there's no nose wire so they fog your glasses in cold weather. Given that even cheap disposable masks have them these days, you'd expect something at this price to have one.
