Is There Anything on Catch Thats Actually a Bargain?

Bought something on Catch with real money but never delivered, got refunded and I ended up with some store credit that I need to spend within a year.
I got some equivalent item elsewhere already so no point to shop from Catch again, but the store credit is forcing me to.
Thing is I couldn't seem to find anything that's actually a bargain to grab on Catch. Items I looked at are cheaper on ebay than on Catch, even come with free delivery!

Was there anything people know about that had been selling at a cheaper price on Catch than elsewhere, like ever?

I used to buy a fair bit from them. Now it just seems a dumping ground for stuff that stores can't sell. Don't think I've even visited the site in the last 12 months.

  • Mfi iphone cables

  • I've found the prices on ASICS running shoes to be decent when on sale, matching that with the targeted coupons to cut out additional shipping.

Should have asked for a proper refund which you are entitled to. Store credit is just a scam.

  • They have been average since Westfarmers took over - now with that said

They generally have 'ok' prices on somethings like clothes etc - I'm not saying you cant find cheaper but for the lay person who isn't a hard core bargain hunter it is ok.

  • Yeah, I'm not sure how they survive to be honest, I have never found anything on there that I couldn't find for a better price elsewhere.

  • Some bargains among the Catch Connect mobile plans.

Otherwise you should subscribe to the store here on OzB.

  • I recently saw the Russell Hobbs food sealing machine for $92. That's cheaper than any other store I've found so far

  • Haven't bought anything from them since they got data breached and then took 3 years to tell anyone about it. They can GF as far as i'm concerned. Plus there's almost no reason to buy from them anyway as I can almost always find same/better from other sellers (Kogan is the same).
