    Unless you're already in the ecosystem I'd recommend looking into eufy doorbell cameras. On sale for around $300 which is a bit more than Ring (depending on version) but no subscription required as it comes with a base station that stores the data(8gb).

      Agreed. I'm more impressed with Eufy's offerings than Ring's.
