[Switch] Hades $30 (was $37.50)/Catan $15 (was $30)/Paw Patrol: On a Roll! $24.99 (was $49.99) - Nintendo eShop

200

Great prices for these three games - can recommend Catan. Obviously Catan and Paw Patrol are suitable for kids.

  • Great deals, thanks OP.

I would recommend Undertale too. It's on sale for $15.37, which is basically the lowest price it has been on the Switch.

  • Correction: Hades was not $37.50. It had a special launch price of $30.

  • Is hades worth it at $30?

You decide but it seems the overwhelming opinion is: YES!

      • Lol Thanks for the breakdown. Appreciate it.

        • If you buy it, let us know how you like it. I am currently finishing up Bastion, one of SuperGiant's other games.

          • @Lysander: I finished Bastion after a recommendation and I liked it… Didn't love it. But it was like $3 at the time so well worth it. Hence my trepidation over getting Hades. But it does look really cool.

@ifreddo: Well, look at the reviews. It says previous games had A graphics and B- combat but that Supergiant nailed it with Hades and the combat is fantastic. So, if it was the combat you did not like in previous games it is worth getting this one as the combat has been improved drastically.

@Lysander: Playing it on pc. The combat system is soooooo good. Fast and really matters how you play. And how you play will change depending on what weapon you pick. It really feels like your fighting and not just mashing buttons.
Its a grind game, like dead cells. But like dead cells if your into it you really wont mind and will keep wanting to unlock that next thing.
            Great game.

Oh, and never played the previous games.

Hades is great. It's just as good as Enter the Gungeon IMO, which is the best rouge-like I've played so far. Very different from that though, more narrative driven etc.

Also perfect for the switch form factor

    • Hades is definitely worth it especially if fast, rogue-like gameplay tickles your fancy. Supergiant's best game to date

  • Catan on switch…
    Any good?

I bought Hades immediately on release. Fantastic game.
Played around 5 hrs without any glitches or bugs and smooth on dock. My daughter plays handheld and it's perfectly fine too.
I love rougelikes on switch and this is becoming one of my favs, currently close second to dead cells. But I think it'll overtake it… The more I play, the more I like it.

  • Man the graphics of Hades look perfect, like they took Hyperlight Drifter and upscaled a few of the annoying (stylised) choices.

    The explosions are looking C R I S P

  • If you are into Rougelike, Hades is 10/10 for you.
Great game! So glad it comes to NS right after it release on Steam.
