  Can it run whilst it is plugged in and charging or even can it run without a battery as long as it's plugged in?
  I don't need a battery operated, just one for my desk.

    The reviews are positive (except for one who seemed to have a faulty lamp). If it didn't work while it was plugged in then I reckon someone would have mentioned it. It would be nice to have this confirmed by the OP. I'm not sure why you would want to remove the battery.

      Not so much remove the battery, just more mean I don't really intend on using the battery at all. I would just have it plugged in at my desk. So the battery isn't necessary for me.

  Ok few benefits having a rechargeable 2200mAh Li-on Battery I guess if the power goes out you'll still have power and a light, though ok my mobile does the same,.. next

  Ok i think Desk Organizer has sold me

  Though my current lamp is powered of one of those smart 240 volt power boards "ok google switch on my lamp" I have a feeling if power is switch off too this lamp the battery will take over, which kills my use of Google assistance with a desk lamp,

  I could be wrong

  edit: actually when one powers it up from the usb power source will it switch back too last state on,..
