This looks like the first GaN charger with an AU plug!

    • +1

      it's about time!

      • +1

        yes, bro

        • This is what I was referring to “duck head”

    • +1

I have a Mopoint I got through Kickstarter with AU plug! Looks just like this but I ended paying more, around $55AUD from memory.

      • That looks nice and small. Does it get hot in use?

        • cooler &smaller & faster

Buy and try. If not full money back.

We have the best aftermarket service

        • +3

Yes, it gets hot charging my 15" MacBook Pro. I think all of the marketing about being cooler is overhyped. I guess they can make it smaller with better cooling, but by making it smaller, it's just as hot as a larger charger. I am only comparing Apple 88W to Mopoint GaN, of course.

        • +2

I bought this one and if I remember, I will come back and comment with my comparison on this vs Mopoint.

          • @S bastian: I try it & charged my MacBook all day. I think it's cooler than the official one. :)

But I also want to know the real customer feedback.
Pls let me know if u feel it good or any suggestion. I will tell our tech team to improve it.

        • +2

Ok, so I have done a very basic test. I charged my 2018 15” MacBook Pro on the Heymix from 5%-25%, then I used the Mopoint for 25%-45%. Heymix was noticeably cooler than Mopoint. I saw both units max out at 72W on a USB C tester.

The Heypoint is larger than the Mopoint, but the worst part is the Heypoint is really long, so it feels like the pins could bend when plugging into wall with just a small amount of pressure on top.

          Also, the Heypoint smells bad😂

It’s good for the price if you are looking at getting your first GaN.

          • @S bastian: Tks for reply

So what's the mean of smells bad? I can take the feedback to our engineer.

The long design is good for a power bar or small socket. It will not affect other plugs. But bad for wall :)

          • @S bastian: by the way..I search the Mopoint GaN on Kickstarter.

Maybe it's the same volume but the different designs. :) but tks for your suggestion. We will improve the design. tks bro.:)

            • @auselect: I was only being silly about the smell.
There is a slightly bad smell when it's warm and you smell close, but nothing bad enough not to buy it!

I think the Mopoint is still smaller and feels more sturdy, but I absolutely think the Heymix is great value and would definitely recommend, especially with next-day delivery on Amazon.
The Heymix also wins on thermals, it was much cooler than the Mopoint.

          • @S bastian: Hi S

I can't message you. Can you take a message to me? I'd like to do product research for you. Could you give me a hand?

  • +1

    nice, good to see!

  • pretty close to pulling the trigger on this. but would love the USB-A port to have a bit more juice.
plan on using a 8 in 1 dongle to run the laptop. just not sure if having a few USB devices off that will still allow the laptop to charge

      • With the higher wattage ones, will they come with more usb outputs?

    • tks for purchase

any problem can call me or leave message to me at any time

  • Finally a GaN charger that can work in Oz.

Do we think it will go over the 65W? Would love to get one for my Macbook Pro, but that charger is 96W so would love to find something a bit more powerful.

Edit: Just saw OP's comment about the 87W and 120W.
Are there other brands that have released chargers of similar wattage?

Is this charger RCM, UL and/or ETL certified?

    • Our GaN with UL Certified, CE & RoHS. RCM test report has ready, all follow SAA request and the certification is on the way. It's a travel adapter design so can use for global.

Does it work as a switch dock power supply?

    • supply for switch dock

@auselect can you clarify the HDMI output for the hub you linked to ? - this is very confusing:
4K@60Hz HD Video Output Adapter: Intergrates USB Type C port to 4K HDMI @30Hz adapter. Mirror or extend your video, game or slide presentation to big screen(HDTV, monitor or projector). Feast your eyes with vivid images and videos in stunning UHD display.

    • Sry for the wrong info.

      4k60hz is correct.
      It's a new upgrade item.

We have changed the bullet point. Tks for ur advice.

I think it's the first 4k60hz version on amazon au & au stock.

      • Still shows 30hz here, might take a while to update. I'll purchase it in good faith :)

EDIT updated now to 60Hz :)

Regarding the USB C port on the charger - will your new models support PPS 10V @ 4.5A ? Do you have the PPS specs for the new models ?

Also, how long is the included USB C cable ?

    • The first questing I have to ask our tech support.

      USB C CABLE =100cm(1m) / support 100W, Emark

    • +1

      Hi
      Engineer reply

But our Engineer has upgrade the drive. It will support next time(support 3.3v-11v=5a)

I don't even need one but I bought one as OP seems like a customer service champ.

    • Tks Bro:)

  • I would think this is the same charger made under different names.
