Not if you drop the weights on your feet…
They are pretty comfy sneakers with a fairly squishy sole.
when i was doing squats and lifts i wanted something a bit firmer for better support. that was just my preference though.
After a few weeks, they should be OK: the in-soles will lose a bit of bounciness.

DL with no shoes and squat with squat shoes (I don't have flexible ankles after destroying them playing basketball)
I deadlift without shoes but think it was easier with a pair of chucks. Maybe it's a mental thing not feeling that stability you get with some shoes
