$45 on the Epic store with $15 coupon

    • Just got a new laptop with Ryzen 5 4600u and apparently can play Read Dead 2 with 720p

      Will take the plunge.

    • What's the coupon code to get the discount?

      • +1

It's not a coupon code as such.

Last big sale they had that ended in June, they gave everyone a $15 off coupon valid until November 1, able to be used for games $25 or more. If you have one on a valid purchase, it'll get automatically applied at checkout.

If you didn't have one/already used yours, you get a new one for adding Rocket League to your account which just went free to play. Still the same Nov 1 expiry date though.

        • +1

thanks heaps for this mate really appreciated, set up account got the Rocket League and it all got applied automatically.

          Downloading RDR2 now :)

      • +1

TL:DR; get Rocket League on Epic Store for free now, get a free $15 coupon included too.

    • Damn, looks like the Epic price is back up to $89.95 today, I missed it by a day! Got the $15 coupon until November 1 though, so I'll hold onto it.

      Incredible savings.

    • The benefits of competition!!

    Seems pricey.

Bought a gaming PC because everyone always argued games were cheaper. Little did i know, they meant average indy games are cheaper, triple A titles remain high. To make it worse, can't trade a PC game in for other games lol.

Never abandon PC. There are so many things you can do and it seems to be a dying skill (observing teenagers and younger with their tablets).

      • Oh PC, well computers in general will always be a hobby for me. I enjoy both PC gaming and console gaming.

Like you said though, computers have endless applications beyond gaming.

        • +2

Rockstar games are not a good example for this - GTA V (a 7yo game) is still around $50 on both Steam and PSN. Overall it cannot be argued that PC games are most of the time cheaper without the Sony/Microsoft licencing involved.

    • I’ve found that only in the last couple of years that prices seem to stay high on PC games. I’ve also found that physical stores like EB games, JB-HI-FI, etc. are stocking less and less PC games. They sell out copies quickly so there’s hardly any significant discounts.

This game came out a lot later on PC though and if you have the right system it will perform better than any console could.

      • That's a good point.

      • Definitely will, never seen this site before.

      • +1

        Does jv run this site

        • +7

No, otherwise there would be bolds

    • Some games tank in value instantly other not, anything rockstar does stays high for years…
I love the graphics on the comp here buy boy, find this game boring as unfortunately

      You should try PC 2

      • Will be trying PC 3080 when it arrives.

    • You should check out Humble Bundle. It's a subscription (roughly $20 p/m) that gives you around 10 new games each month. You can always opt out of that month if you don't like what's on offer, but most of the time there's something good. Not too long ago they gave away Crash Bandicoot and the Spyro Trilogy, Hitman etc.

    • They were cheaper like 5 years ago, now there's no difference really

    • +1

Very stupid comment, wasn't worth replying to.

      Feel bad now.

      • he could have meant the performance is terrible which it kinda is

  • It's not a bargain.

    • It's cheaper than RRP.

  • You're alright boy

  • My criticisms of this game (its boring) pale in comparison to my praises - best graphics on ps4 pro by a long way. I hear the game gets more interesting as it goes along, can anyone confirm?

    • Absolutely, it's an unfolding story that becomes better than real life! :P
