List of Exercises Which Do Not Involve Elbow

I injured my right elbow and it is now healing.

As a result, I cannot do my kettlebell based exercises. I would be very thankful if someone can give me a list of exercises that do not involved the elbow.

I am currently limited to Situps and leg raises. Just the names of exercises will be enough.

TIA

Update: I found out that if I use my kettlebell upto 12 kg then it does not strain my elbow but provides a good workout to body (esp doing swings). My elbow has improved a lot after using extreme heat though the skin around that area is discoloured now.

    • I have thought about using dumbbells on left hand as well.

Front squats. You can hold the barbell with crossed arms like a genie. Practically zero loading on elbow.

      • Yup. The primary exercise group are the quadriceps but it will work every thing from shoulders down. The longer the bar, the more balancing muscles get worked.

        • I don't have a rod for now but will try for it on facebook marketplace.

          Thanks!

          • @trinkasharma: Get a broom stick and place sandbags on each end. Just make sure the sandbags do not slide off or one end will come flying towards your face.

  • what elbow injury do you have?curious because i have an elbow injury that noone seems to be able to fix..lol

Golfer's elbow by any chance (inside elbow) aka "Middle Aged Pull Up Syndrome"? I don't have a permanent fix but I found holding heavy weights for a long time one-off (~30 minutes) had helped instantly. The physio recommended hammer curls and fist pullups to strengthen muscles in stable positions (parallel pull-ups were really painful as normal pull-ups and may have even triggered it…). Using a neck massage machine all over the upper arms and lower arms could help as well. Avoiding RSI from certain activities and high volume exercise is of course ideal.

      • Same..I got tennis elbow..and golfers elbow..Don't know how..inner and outside of elbow always in pain..due to lifting and overuse of forearms..
Cnt get rid of it..tried physio..Chiro.. now going to oestheo. In november :(

    • Drilling with a semi blunt drill bit and finishing the job.

The injury could have healed if I used full heat treatment for few days but instead I kept on increasing my kettlebell weights.
Make sure you using UNCOMFORTABLE level of heat to heal it faster. My arm has marks on it from heat treatment but it has healed a lot.

Earlier I was treating it using turmeric milk only.

      • I think I have this from to much paddling/surfing. But for years have felt tender. Sounds like their is no concrete remedy? Getting old

        • Try heat. You will know in 1-2 days

    • Use heat for 2-3 days and see if it helps.

  • Backflips. Also, frontflips

    • double aerial somersaults

      • Kickflip 1080's.
