I wouldn't even care if there are some cosmetic paid things, just looks like the gameplay is repetitive

Theres a ~15min gameplay video kicking about on Youtube which showcases a round of Fleet Battle and goes into detail about the gameplay systems. Essentially its a more hardcore version of Battlefront 2's Starfighter Assault.
Allegedly no MTX either.

I love Star Wars. I love gaming. I've been playing Star Wars games since Dark Forces and X-Wing vs TIE Fighter. I've lost countless hours/days/weeks/months having lightsaber duels online, replaying KOTOR with God knows how many mods or waging war against mates in Galactic Battlegrounds.
I still would not go near an EA preorder with a 10 foot (profanity) lightsaber.
I'm assuming this will end up on game pass by the time it comes out?
We can only hope. I for one will probably only play it for a month or two given it's only 5v5 battles. :/
Nope. I’ve had EA Play for 3 years and they have never released a new game on their service. Usually takes 6-12 months. There is/was a premium service on PC that does this I think.
Xbox same price too
