Kogan? Are they Australian stock, 2 years warranty and GST inc?

  • iibuy has black for $539 and white $549 price been like that for awhile now

    • +3

For $30 ~ $40 price different, you will get 100% Au version, 2 years warranty, 10% you can claim back if bring the phone to oversea or purchase on behalf of business.

You can buy for 519$ at Kogan. 1 years warranty.

  • @mobilecity
Will you do a special deal for microSD 16GB or 32GB?

    • +4

      different company

      Mobicity sells non-AU
      Mobiciti sells Au stock.

      • +1

You mean Mobileciti sells Au stock. The names are confusing!

        • +1

ahh fudge, in trying to correct someone I made the mistake myself. But you know what I mean ;)

  • -4

ShoppingSquare have the S2 black at $499.95 and the White at $498.95

Delivery to Parramatta 2150 is $49 (3000 also $49 so it might be a flat rate)

So that makes it $549 DELIVERED ($30 cheaper).

Only 1 year warranty, might be grey import - just putting the info out there for you to comment on

    • Wow I thought the white one is the limited edition, but yet it's much cheaper! That's surprising!

  • +4

This is a good price for Australian stock (assuming you live near Parra). Sure, you can get grey imports a bit cheaper, but personally I'd rather pay a bit more for a 2 year Samsung Australia warranty.

    • -5

Warranty isn't an issue with many people since they'll probably install custom firmwares.

Edit: which by the way is the only reason to get an android imo. CyanogenMod > OS5 > stock android

        Dude, don't go there.

  • i'm pretty sure i saw this thing sell for just less than 500 a month ago. Did this thing appreciate?

  • -2

You can get one brand new in box through Ebay or Gumtree for around $400-450 like i did. Anything over $500 is to much since a bunch of new phones are coming out shortly like the Galaxy Nexus, Galaxy Note to name a few.

  • -3

AU stock? sounds like it is australia made product. what a shame!!

remeber, it is invented and made in other country

  • +2

i am pretty sure some phones are actually slightly different for various countries. For example, US iphones have Samsung RAM whereas Australian iphones have some random brand I haven't heard of.

Also, Australian Stock = Australian Samsung Apps.

As for the deal, I think the Note or the Nexus is more worth it if you find the Note too big.

Remember, the Note has 2.66 times the pixels of the Galaxy S2.

  • Hi MobileCiti,
So we can just turn up to your store and mention your OzBarain post and you'll sell it for $579?

Any chance of lowering the price to around $565? You'll get more customers and more positive votes from OzBargainers :-)

    • Hi

Yes, just come to our Parramatta store mention the OzBargain deal.

  • I think this is the cheapest price so far for Aussie stock. Tempting but I'll wait for nexus.
