The moment any contest that asks for your date of birth, beware. You'd be getting some sales and promo calls and possibly fraud.

    • Or maybe to ensure you're old enough to drive it?

I doubt it, besides I’d give my first born to them if I won (if I had a first born to give, though)! 🤣🤣👶🏻🧸🚗

Agree.. Theres no need to know my DOB just to hand out a car, its in the T&C anyway you need to be over 18.
That was the first thing I thought of when I opened the link to enter..
Oh well I wouldnt have won anyway.

I clicked the link and started filling up the form until it ask for DOB. CLosed the Tab and stopped dreaming.

    • Just put in a fake birthday. I think they just want to know if you're over 18.

Why do they need my DOB? This kind of info can be seriously abused…

Yea guys, please don't enter, it is asking for DOB which can cause huge issues with fraud. I will enter on your behalf and deal with all the fraud issues.

  • I wonder if you could change one number in your DOB, see if you won and then give them your real DOB and just say it was an accident. i wonder if they would be dodgy enough to deny you if you won because of it.

    • +1

      For sure they would

      • I wonder whether you could apply with an abbreviation of your name and correct DOB to avoid potential fraud/identity theft issues!

People whinging about DOB fraud, but yet have given over their details on all sites where they've needed to log in via gmail..

How does network ten have enough money for this

    • Sponsored by Mitsubishi, so likely hasn't cost Ten anything monetary; there would be some quid pro quo with advertising. Keep in mind Pajero factories are shutting next year so this may be a last ditch effort by Mitsubishi to drum up some business.
