Just found out it is 49% off again.
bought one yesterday on the shop. it's slightly higher than last time but still much cheaper than the card version.

Yep. Voez is awesome! I played a little on my tablet so found the Switch screen a bit too small for comfort but still a great value for $13.50.

You only really have two options: the official Hori drum, or the unofficial Chinese drum. The Hori drum is undoubtedly the better option of the two, but it costs three times the price.

Not the case at the moment, but from time to time this game goes on sale on the US eShop for $14.99 USD. I got it by buying a US $20 eShop gift card online and used it on a new account I made with location set in the US. Worked out to be cheaper than any price I've seen one the Aussie eShop, and a got to buy two song packs for the game with the remaining $5.
Worth looking out for if you're looking to get the game.
Deemo ($22.50) and Voez ($13.50) are also on sale for those who are into rhythm games.
