    Can these be put inside an enclosure to stop sound travelling around the house via the attic?

      Yes, you can definitely put them in an enclosure if necessary. Typically if you have enough insulation this can also stop sound leakage.

      I recently got Qi80c and was looking for a ceiling hood. But everything seems to be over $100. Then I found Monoprice 8” Enclosure. It wasn’t a perfect fit. Had to cut some pieces off to make space, then it was a nice fit. You can try the 6.5″ version for this.

    That's a great price on the QB12. I was looking at one earlier this year for about $1200 and I would have jumped on it at this price! I ended up with a REL HT1205 sourced locally for $1200.

      received mine - sweet unit. nice looking and well built.
      I did not expect much with 230W of class D amp but I am pleasantly surprised.
      vibration and low level voice is accurate and integrates well with the rest.
      for the price, it is a BARGAIN

    i am building a media room. i am looking at 2 x pair of https://www.rio.com.au/product/qi80c-in-ceiling-speaker-q-ac… and a subwoofer https://www.rio.com.au/product/q-acoustics-qb12-q-acoustics/ i have a 5.1 channel yamaha Receiver.

    will this give me a proper media room experience?
