As I already said that in Nord's node, I'm a Google fan but it is not even a Bargain for Pixel's stock Android experience with 765G. And with my previous user experience with Pixel XL and 2XL, I'm pretty sure that 765G will not be powerful enough to run Android 13 smoothly. It is pathetic that a budget phone made by previous HTC team with premium price.
Google had good start in phone industry, don't know what happened to them and in which direction they want to go. Pixel 4 was disappointment and 5 too.

Anyone who's interested in buying a Pixel 5 at full RRP will hear about it elsewhere. These RRP posts are just spam at this point.

Surely though the S20 FE is a more compelling purchase than this, unless you want a slightly better camera or smaller form factor?
S20 FE 5G has the Snapdragon 865 processor which is way better than the 765G, plus you get the Galaxy Buds Live for preorders.
Even the $999 Exynos version of the S20 FE is above this in terms of processor (RAM is another issue though).
Personal opinion for my use case: If you really want a killer phone for $999 out of pocket do this - preorder the S20 FE GB 256GB version from Samsung through the regular Samsung store for $1199 (using the $50 newsletter sign up code) then sell the Buds Live for $200. RRP of these is in the $300s so I think the price is fair.Remember the days of the nexus 5, where you would get flagship specs at around half price of a flagship phone. Tbf the nexus 5 compromised by offering a poor camera and smaller battery.
No pre order bonus? That seems stingy considering S20 FE comes with free buds live.
totally agree. i was hoping the pixel 5 would be $999 with buds but i guess was let down so going see if the Note 20 comes out with a FE

Pixel 5 is a rip off in Australia. Its CA$799 in Canada when Canadian dollar is only slightly stronger than Australia. Why is it $200 more here?
There is a 5%-15% GST on top of that price depending on where you live in Canada.

Yes. Like the US. Tax is not included in the advertised price in Canada because each province has a different tax rate.
