Doesn't look like its mechanical keyboard… ?! Or is it? I was under impression that Razer only does Mechanical KeyBoards, bit surprised

    • +2

Nah, they do both. They have their own keys now, used to use cherry's

Yes I own Razer BlackWidow Tournerment Edition - very nice keyboard

N.B. somebody negged my above comment - I guess you get negged for not knowing everything these days :)

        • I got chu bro

      • Last time they used Cherry switches was almost a decade ago I think, they've exclusively used their own switches for a while now.

I have the ornata and it's considered a hybrid. The keys aren't quite mechanical ie don't feel clicky, and are quite soft in the action.
      I like it.

Would had bought it if it had mechanical keys

  • Any mouse recommendation?

    • The Viper Ultimate is supposed to be the best gaming mouse on the market currently. Almost as light as my wired Model D I just received the other day but slight smaller too and wireless to boot. Granted its also more than twice the price but if you want the best, you gotta pay the goods.

Just got the Razer Viper. Lowest price it's ever been. Don't forget cashback too.

      • where did you buy it from?

        • It's on sale at Amazon atm - https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B07V6Z9RW4
I got it for $67 last month but still a good deal at $75.

          • @yeanah: What wireless one would you recommend?

            • +1

@baldur: I don't have any wireless mice so can't really say. The Viper Ultimate does get a good write up though if you're gonna be gaming with it.

            • +1

@baldur: Viper Ultimate is still objectively the best wireless mouse on the market (if the shape) fits you.

              Can be quite costly though.

  • Anyone got any personal reviews of this headset? Tempted.

    • For $60, I suggest you don't get your hopes up about them.

  • Seems like a pretty good price on the Razer Ultimate. Can't tell if it includes the charging dock - not sure that'd be particularly handy anyway. A lot of coin for a mouse even on sale!

    • I think it does come with it.. googling the SKU (RZ01-03050100) comes up with many other online sellers that say 'with charging dock'

  • Shipping is coming up as free to Melbourne for the Viper Ultimate

  • good price for Razer Black Widow Elite $188

    • Was as low as around $150 on Amazon a month or 3 ago.

  • Grabbed one of the Basilisk X HyperSpeed's for $76, fast at home via the dongle and can use with laptop via Bluetooth while travelling (eventually)

    Cheers OP.

    • hows it compared to the ultimate ?

  • anyone got any comments on the wireless earphones?

  • Seems to be free shipping for Melbourne except for the $13 mouse mat

Been waiting for the Blackshark V2 to go on sale, thanks OP

I almost grabbed the X when they were released but I'm glad I waited. Regular v2 for less than $20 more is a steal.

  • Hi, someone else bought the Keyboard Cynosa V2?
If yes my Volume control keys are kinda hard and the feeling when press it is very different from the other keys, it's alright?
