    Why meaningless? For Yaris, would be great for the GR and the 1.5 petrol. The hybrid still uses petrol, just less.

  Thanks. Will need to work out whether this is cheaper (+2% rebate with HSBC Everyday Global) or I should stick with Coles Express (4c docket + 4c carsales/5c shell racing + ~10% off with Coles gift card).

    Or 4c for $30 supermarket shop + 4c for petrol station shop + 10% Wish card payment at Woolworths Petrol stations. That's almost a 20% discount without having to buy a new car.

  I happened to pickup my new Toyota vehicle on the 1st October and was told about this promotion by the dealer. However, I only get 8c/L off coupon on this app. The conditions in the app says 20c off is only for Adelaide Football Club member, etc and this is not stated on Toyota web site. Anyone else managed to get 20c/L off on this app? Or what did I miss or do wrong?

    The link on the advert takes you to Toyota website itself mate. You took car delivery on the 1st October, but your purchase date is likely in September (or prior), just before the offer period started which might suck if true and your dealer cannot apply some management discretion for you to benefit from the higher discount.

    Worth giving the dealer a call and escalate to Toyota if dealer cannot help. All the very best, please do share the outcome & approach for others in same boat to benefit if it works out for you, thanks in advance.

      OK, good idea. I will ask the dealer. The obvious thing is the staff who pass on the keys told me it is 20c via MyToyota app, not just once but a few times and in writing too.

      What I was trying to point out is the Terms and Conditions displayed in the app itself is different from Toyota web site, especially for the 20c off.

      Actually, the new car I got is a hybrid, so its fuel consumption is pretty low anyway. The extra discount makes little difference.

        The dealer responded confirming I must use the first name/ last name /email must be match to one used on their system to get the 20c. Waiting for system to update in 24hr, so the 20c discount coupon will appear.

        Btw, the app is now showing the 20c discount terms and condition for new vehicle purchase now. Not just 20c off for Adelaide Football Club member, etc.

          @EricWong: I queried with the dealer again when 20c did not appear. They replied they made a mistake and I am not eligible because my purchase was in September even though delivery was on 1st October. Would be interested to hear from others if you are in similar situation as me and able to get 20c coupon.

            @EricWong: After I provided online feedback to Toyota, Melbourne City Toyota contacted me, offer to get me the 20c discount and I finally see it today on my account today. Thanks Melbourne City Toyota for their effort because they don't have to do this for me at all. For others, do sent them feedback and they will try to satisfy you. Now, need to find a way to maximize the benefits.
