PHILIPS iPod Clock Radio Model DC320 Now $99 ($50 off and Free Shipping)

30

I missed the previous deal on this and was hoping it would come up again (which it has). It's $99 which is $50 off and Dick Smith have thrown in free shipping.

Now it's not going to fill the room with ear-shattering sound but it does sound pretty good for a clock radio and (like me) you can stick your old iPod in it (you know, the one with the battery that's nearly dead).

Yes, there's been some complaint in reviews about the display brightness but I still ordered mine.

  • I would discourage anyone from buying a clock radio from Philips. I bought one at the start of the year and the alarm (the radio) does not turn on randomly about once every week or two. This is pretty annoying as it's the basic function of the device and has caused me to be late to meetings at work before.

This price is not good enough if you consider the price in China is CNY220 and $50 in US.

I can't speak for China but I suggest you check and I think you'll find that all the US$50 ones in America are reconditioned or refurbished, not new. Hardly comparing apples with apples is it.

      • It's an alarm clock, how in the world is a reconditioned one going to differ?

        • +1

You seemed to have missed the point.

It's going to differ in price which was the point of the post. Reconditioned or refurbished items are always cheaper than new.

So how does that make a difference? It's still cheaper so hongxinis point holds…
