Bill from a Old Mobile Company

I changed mobile service provider from Vodafone to Aldi and got a email bill from Vodafobe after more than a month.
It says I don't need to pay the bill but has credit. How can I get the credit back from Vodafone?
I cannot login anymore and no way to contact them. Does anyone have similar cases?

    "no way to contact them"

Kinda reminds me of Flander's Dad in the Simpsons:

"We've tried nothing and we're all out of ideas!"

    ….no way to contact them

How old are you and how have you survived this long?

    • Thats a bit harsh LOL

      • Yes, I do agree… but I couldn't help it - what OP said was just unbelievable! haha

  • No way to contact Vodafone? Are you sure, Its a huge corporation with 5 million customers…

    complain to the TIO

    • Doing this actually makes it worse for the TIO given that it can be easily resolved.

The TIO even says that you must go to the telco to attempt a resolution and ask for an escalation. The TIO is funded by the telcos to mediate vs being the first responder.

Simple answer is to contact VF via live chat, message on FB etc so they can confirm your address and get you a cheque with the balance.

Hope this is clickbait… Surely the OP knows how to use 'Google'.

I wonder if they ever lived through the 'yellow pages' days…

From many forum posts asking questions on many varied topics it appears a lot of the population have never heard of google. ;-)

  • How much is the credit?

  • From:Vodafone How do I request a refund if my final bill is in credit?

If your account is in credit from overpayment, we can refund you the credit balance. If you paid your account with direct debit and the credit amount is $5 or more, we'll automatically refund it to the bank account or credit/debit card you used.

If you paid your account by another payment method, or the credit amount is less than $5 or you paid, you can request a refund by calling 1555 from your Vodafone phone or 1300 650 410 from any phone.

      WOW!!! Thanks for kind answer.

The credit is nearly $40 and I cannot find how I can get refund.
Yes my grammer is not good as English is my second language.
I have no reason to have clickbait even "clickbait" is a new word for me.
Calling is not my favorate way to contact someone and I try to avoid this option.
I answer all questions and will no longer use this forum to save your fingers.

      Big thanks to hyaspty.

    • Hi again,

I rang to Vodafone and arranged the refund but nothing happened.
After 1 month I rang again and waiting waiting and waiting for 30 mins… then hung up finally.
I rang again and this time I asked them to ring me. An Indian man rang me from India and
after some id checks he put me on waiting. I was waiting, waiting and waiting… listening
endless songs and "Sorry for the delay… bla bla bla… " and song again.
Please refund Automatically rather than sending a bill with credit monthly.

I have no way to contact Vodafone except endless waiting call centre.

PS: I spent more than an hour and sort it out. Now I will see refund will happen in the time frame they promised.
      Thanks anyway…
