I have one and it makes an annoying buzzing sound

  • 15W peak output is faster than the wired charging

What is the average output after charging losses?

  • I have one of these in black - charges the LG v50 in fast mode, but the LG v30 only charges in regular mode, wish it did not have the cheesy "15W" printed in an annoying font on the charging surface.
I still like it though, slim, usb-c connection is convenient.

    • It has Micro USB in the pics not usb c?

EDIT: specs say Type C so pic must be of a different model

      • The LG v50 shows "fast charging wirelessly" on the lockscreen when resting on this charger.
The LG v30 shows "charging wirelessly on the lockscreen when resting on the same charger.

The LG v30 supports 15W charging, yet this charger does not work in this mode when they are used together.

My guess is that the v50 supports 10W wireless charging and reports it as fast charging. That would lead me to believe this model supports wireless charging up to 7.5-10W, but does not charge at 15W.

Maybe they get around this by stating "15w" on their cheesy logo, which actually has no meaning. (W is the recognised abbreviation of the Watt unit w is generally used as an abbreviation for the width dimension).

The only recent charger from Ozbargain that charges wirelessly at 15W has been the BazaarDodo with the integrated cabling..

  • Interested to know what speed it charges a Samsung S10??

    • It depends on your plug. It charges my note 10 at fast charging

      • Is that using the Samsung fast charging adapter/plug that came with your phone?

Still haven't receive order from 2 months ago. So not recommended.

  • I got this Qi charger on the last deal a few months back.
Quality is pretty good… and yeh the "15w" printed on top is a bit ugly at first but u'll ignore it soon enough.
It fast-charges my Galaxy S7 just fine.
But for some reason it won't fast-charge our Pixel 3 XL, even if its using the original Pixel fast-charging wall wart and cable. It would only slow charge.
