520 grams, so a bit hefty.
Here's a teardown of the UGREEN PB723:

I'm not sure. A photo of one sold in France doesn't have a CCC mark. A photo of one in the teardown has a CCC mark and Chinese text but no RCM mark.
PB723 has the CCC certification and mark on models sold in China but it's not clear what stock Amazon AU has.
Thats my concern. I need one for my trip to China.
I have the same problem! I emailed Anker and they replied the Anker A1638 is CCC certified.
Suggest you ask the supplier to confirm before you order or else just buy it after you land in China
mate buy it in China, cheaper probably and CCC
are you catching flights in between China?
They didn't even take mine (non-CCC power bank). And the dude at airport was checking every power bank too. This was on a flight to HK from Shanghai FYI. So either they're not enforcing it strictly, or it is only domestic flights.
@Avalanche Strike: A few weeks ago I had the displeasure of being re-booked through China after Qantas caused me to miss my flight to Singapore - Intl -> Intl flights via Shanghai - and had to go through security between the two. I had 3 power banks with me. 2 the same with CCC markings, but no capacity listed, and 1 with a capacity but no CCC marking. China now owns the 2 with the CCC markings…
The policy, if there is even one, is a mess.
@Deceiver: well if there's no capacity and look kind of big and I was working there I would also seize it because I don't want to lose my job if I happen to be the lucky one
@Avalanche Strike: in and out of China you can bring non CCC power banks it's only China to China they need CCC on domestic flights
If anyone else was wondering, A "CCC rating" for a power bank refers to the China Compulsory Certification (CCC), a mandatory safety and quality standard for power banks sold and used within China
Why?
Oh Why
I need you in my life
Everyday sale price.
Build in cable is annoying…
True. I'm on the fence about built-in cables for smaller power banks with extra ports because the mechanical stress might be reduced when in your pocket with a phone. But for a larger power banks the benefit doesn't seem to be as obvious.
Yeah I have a PC dock with inbuilt thunderbolt cable which has now died… friend had an EV charger with built in cable that died…
I'm anti built in / pro modular!
Was thinking about that as well. Cable longevity, need longer reach, etc.
It has In2/Out2, kind of takes care of that concern.
I love the built in retractable cable on my anker 165w. Super convenient and saves space.
I would be annoyed if it breaks though. Its meant to be strong so hopefully it will last
I can see some advantage of a built-in cable, but is the whole thing rendered useless if/when the cable breaks?
Photo shows In2/Out2, so can still be functional, but limited to 1 USB-C device.
does this have the CCC rating ?
The UGREEN is double the capacity.
