Anyone tried this basmati rice ? How is it compared to India Gate Premium?
Want to know as well before I buy. How does it compare to India Gate Exotic?
Haven't heard or tried this one but with that price it should be inferior than that of India gate

Can the Aalishan Basmatic rice be used for Fried Rice cantonese style?
I'm sure you can, just make sure you pre-cook the rice and keep overnight before cooking fried rice the next day :)
why do you have the to wait for next day?
I cooked jasmine rice today using a sauce pan and used it straight away for Fried rice, taste pretty good :)

That's not Uncle Roger approved.
Basmati rice will break if you use it straight away.
The Rice must be reasonably cold before using it for Fried Rice….this is because you need to separate the grains.

I hope this is good rice. Last time I bought white rice which is cheapest 6.9/5kg and after cooking, it turned so hard and I stopped buying cheaper rice.
