If anyone has a US PSN account, AC: Odyssey Gold Ed. is also on sale for US$19.99. Works out to be about A$28.
You also need to have money in your US PSN account. Which means you probably have to buy a card elsewhere and then load it into the account. Which is fine as you can buy more games there.
Unfortunately though it is not as straightforward as simply making an US account and paying with your Aussie card.

it seems current period all running special for AC series are cheaper on US PSN as well compare to AU.
Is this a good entry game to the assassins creed series? or should i play the others first to know the story?
You don't need to play the others.
This is widely viewed as a great game and will keep you entertained for long time.
I found the game play to be enjoyable, the story a bit meh. Definitely worth it for this price tag though!

Great visuals, solid story, smooth and interesting gameplay. WHY ARE THE ITEMS SO MEANINGLESSLY AND BORING!?
