  • WHAT!! How come no switch release!?!

I'd say it's only a matter of time.

      • Hope so before Christmas. Doom ultimate isn’t out either

  • What are the odds of a better deal this side of Christmas?

Personally I think fairly good. Could even come in the prime sales. The game seems to be getting fairly mixed reviews so I don’t think it’ll sit at $69 or higher for too long. I’d expect at least another $10 off at some point.

        This game is INSANELY hard!

        I love it though

        Highly recommended to crash fans

  • Man, they really screwed up Crash's appearance.

  • Mate of mine got this game and returned it.
The difficulty made it not fun to play which is worrying.
Every review I have read so far has said the same thing. It’s too hard to be fun.

    • I’ve heard it’s a fair bit more enjoyable if you play in the new Modern Mode where you get infinite lives, and forget about going for 100% of the collectables. That’s probably how I’ll opt to play when I eventually pick it up, don’t have the time that it seems like it requires to 100% this.

I think it's similar to previous Crash games which were a real PITA (and genuine throw controller at the wall type of difficulty)… but from what I've read they've also included various improvements to make the game a little easier/more manageable.

That being said, I think most modern games have desensitised gamers nowadays into expecting to pass/finish/do well on their first go… whereas games of yesteryear had longer replayability by simply being much more challenging with lots of collectibles.

    • N Sane Trilogy is the most difficult Crash games you can play and people weren't complaining about it when it came out.
You have to be a master at the game to pass levels like The High Road & Stormy Ascent if anything Crash 4 is one of the easiest.

      • I have Crash 4 and am loving it.
The Nostalgia as well as the new modes.

Mate was the one who was like "how do i turn on Noob Mode" LOL

I do not agree with your comment though, Toys for Bob have ramped up the difficulty compared to the OG 3 Games and the N'Sane trilogy.
The addition of Modern Mode however has made it more forgiving longer term

100% though Crash 4 is the hardest Crash game yet!

  • Has anyone tried the co-op yet? Is it a full fledged campaign or just a few missions
