Popped a pre-order off, doubt it's going to get any cheaper considering it's a Nintendo game and probably relatively low volume.

    • Sounds about right. You will get about $60 deal at best for a year, unless combined with coupon/code etc

      • What about Prime day? Any chance it will be cheaper on on Prime day?

        • In theory, if it goes cheaper on Prime Day (which I doubt) there is a pre-order price guarantee which should match the new low price.

        • +1

Nope. Nintendo first-party games barely go down in value even after years of being on the market. For example, Super Mario Odyssey came out in October of 2017 and still is price around 55-60 and even more than that at some retailers.

        • There were few decent discount on last year prime day, of course we didn’t have COVID back then… not sure if this impacts on degree of sale discount.

very tempted for this game. not a fan of those dynasty warriors type game and killing and slashing. But this is tempting, may wait for the review

  • Anyone think there's any chance of a Collector's Ed coming to Australia before launch?

    • It's 16720 yen so even if it did come here, would you pay that?

      • wow 200ish aud. Not including taxes yet

      • +5

Nope probably not! Didn't know it was so expensive, would only pay that much if it came with decent figures / collectables (not a blanket…)

        • +1

Excuse me? It's not a blanket, it's a glider, THE GLIDER

          • +4

@azngamer: So I can glide of mountains with it? $200 is not bad

  • Grabbed one, thanks.

Once I heard this was coming one and saw the trailers, I re-played BOTW in anticipation to remind myself of the story. I'm not a fan of Dynasty Warrior style games, but the animation and story (I hope) should keep me engaged.

  • Nice already pre-ordered on amazon good to see the price is going down for me too

Why play this game when you know you're going to lose in the end

    • +7

      wow

Oh sorry, I should've spoiler tagged it

        • +2

am intending to buy this brainless hacking and slashing while rocking my boy to sleep. Now, i have to cancel the pre-order! :(

Why are you eating your lunch when you know you are going to be hungry later? ;)

    • Maybe there’s multiple endings. I’ve always said there aren’t enough games that follow on from the “bad ending” in the previous title

      • So there hope for an ending where link doesn't get comatosed? I'm in

        • +1

Probably not. Was just joking lol

      damn.. spoilers bro

  • EB Games is running the $29 + trade in 2 games for this. Anyone know if you can use PS4 games for this?

You can if they're running it in the same way as previous deals

  • This game looks worth it just for the storyline

  • Noticed on Amazon just now the yellow and blue Joycons are at $103 if you dont mind a little wait.
