TN panel no thanks. Kogan isn't the best brand and it's Innolux TN panel.

    • Could you please give a little data on why this TN is not good? I can see by the +1s many others agree. Thanks.

      • TN usually have worse colour reproduction, with cheap TN having very dead colour and not vibrant. They also have worst viewing angle, thankfully this at least have a decent stand with swivel, tilt, height and even pivot. They are also cheapest panel.

      • To answer my own question, a google search shows much less viewing angles. That's a deal killer for me in the environment I had in mind for this pity, it ticks all other boxes.

      • It's not that TN is bad, it's that there has never been a good 4k TN.

TN has its place for motion resolution, so 144Hz and up, though VA is pushing up to it, at least up to 240Hz.

IPS has viewing angle and colour consistency superiority on both of them, but even at its best it still has a powdery trailing effect inherent to the technology.

But at 4k60Hz, none of this really matters, and most people would be using such a monitor for productivity and sRGB image/video work, so just get an IPS.

  • Shame it is only 60hz. If that doesn't bother you still a decent deal.

Gonna be hard to find 4k panel higher than 60hz for even triple or 4x this price.

      • +3

        Is that a challenge ?

Where else can you find a 4K 120hz display, cheapest one as far as I know is over $1500. Not even a comparison

      • You can't, which is why I said it is a still a good deal. Just that 60 hz is a big deal breaker for some people.

      • Sub-$1500 is possible, maybe even sub-$1000 with upcoming sales, but yes: that's irrelevant against this deal.

$1500 will get you a 4K 120Hz OLED TV soon enough.

  • I've been looking for a monitor to use as a secondary monitor for documents and such to go with my Samsung CRG9. I needed one that can easily be mounted vertically and I don't really want to use wall mounts at this point. Whilst I'm under no illusion that this is likely to be a fantastic monitor in terms of viewing angles, colour accuracy/vividness, etc, I think it should work well for my intended use and, at this price, I figure it's worth a shot.

  • TN panel. colour gamut/srgb coverage not specified. No sale here.

cheapest 4k 27-28 inch at centrecom is $449.

TN panel - no problem, I'm not looking for 100% accurate colour reproduction. My other 29 inch monitor has an ips of I ever desire to use this.

    I've jumped, thank you OP.

    • No worries. Thanks my first post. Looks like out of stock now hopefully some of you got it.
It isn't a PS5 monitor. More a general use work monitor, typically I've seen them for 200 more than this.

Thanks, looking to dip my feet into the 4k waters … and the price was right. If it turns out to be crap, not much of a financial hit.

    • could probably sell it for a profit!
