  • don't optometrists give you a free trial pack anyways?

    • Pretty sure they'll charge for fitting it, or something else.

  • +6

Don't bother. This free trial is tied with conditions. You'll have to pay for eye test and contacts fitting in order to get these "free" contacts.

It's like advertising free napkins with every meal purchased.

i think acuvue also offer a similar deal for as long as i can remember

    • Thanks, well spotted. I take back my +

    • only if your prescription is over 12months old.
if you have a recent one then it's fine.

i got my script 4months back and nobody offer free trail lens.

please do post if there are other offers available,
instead of just stating "they offer it everywhere" not really helful!!!

The irony of a blurry picture for a post on contact lenses.

    • but then i would argue do you really want to see that picture in focus?

chick looks sort of hot, maybe you have to get these lenses to see the chick clearly

        • +4

Yes to the chick… No to Alex Perry and his unbuttoned shirt

  • +4

You always get free trial lenses from anywhere as long as you pay for the fitting.

  • does that guy who looks like a potato ever wear his glasses on his eyes?

    • it helps protect him from sunburn on his noggin…

  • +2

Also note they use their own in-house brand so they will make there money later as you will not be able to buy it from anywhere else.

  • +1

    Fitting is not free.
+ as mentioned before, you get with with a proprietary brand.

  • -1

I work at Specsavers and i can say that fittings have been free for a while and the inhouse brand is pretty cheap. but i guess its up to you. It really depends on the optometrist that is testing your eyes.

    • Contact lens fitting is free. But for that you've got to get your eyes tested! And you'll be charged for eye tests, but its a pretty good deal because you get free fitting with every paid eye test -.-

  • this is an ongoing "special", nothing special
