Need a Cheap Monitor with HDMI Compatibility - What Do You Recommend?

Hi guys,

I just need a cheap monitor for my working from home set up.

Requirements:
- HMDI port
- would prefer 27 inch screen (or as large as possible)
- Second hand is fine
- As cheap as possible

I have checked gumtree but unable to find anything decent within a 20km radius.

TIA!

  • unable to find anything decent within a 20km radius.

Ok, and that would be where? Or are you asking just for new suggestions?

    • I live on the outskirts of Sydney, so 20km out west and north is rural/bush.
So was hoping people could provide me some suggestions other than gumtree, I have done a google but the typical places come up with limited stock.

  • +1

There are so many Dell monitor deals here, just pick one.

If they are not cheap enough, you need to travel more than 20km to get a second hand one.

It depends on how you weight you time and petrol cost than buying new.

  • Wait until Amazon Prime day, It is 2 days away and they will bring a couple of monitors on sale that will meet your requirements for really cheap, maybe even cheaper than second hand and sometimes even cheaper than black friday sales, I suggest you sign up for a prime free trial or make another account for the trial now so you can be prepared for the sales on the 13th-14th of October

  • Have you considered buying an adaptor for a non hdmi screen?

    • There are very few screens made recently that don't have HDMI. It's not going to give him much more choice.

      • They're looking for the cheapest second hand monitor, I doubt they are looking at recently made options

        • DVI/VGA was the standard for a long time

  • Dell S2721HN 27" FHD IPS Monitor, which has 2 HDMI ports, $188.80 with free delivery.
