It's is really meh and not worth it now that the chromcast TV is available. The offer with Netflix is still available with the chromcast working out to be under $50 and you will always get the latest in os and security with it

    • Can you install VivaTV on chromecast?

      • Naughty naughty, just use kodi like everyone else lol but yeh shouldn't be a issue on the CCtv but theres better options out there

In the past I used Kodi but found I spent more time fiddling with app repos and setting it up right then watching anything. I just felt like it was too much mucking around on a consistent basis. TeaTV and Catmouse are simpler, self updating options. I feel that kodi being completely customisable, is not sustainable in the long run. If you disagree it maybe because I was doing it wrong and therefore would love to hear your insights.

@SonOfATightASS: I've been using it for year and there was a period last year when add ons were breaking and the bs with tvaa but its been pretty solid. Using the crew with a custom wizard using zephyr 2 UI and it's great. I also have a real-debrid account tho so that might be our difference since I always get fhd and 4k results that playback perfect. Has actually been better then Netflix since they halved the bitrate due to covid. Still have Netflix and prime tho

  • PM better options pls

    • +2

In my opinion, better options are

      • Google Chromecast TV

      • Vodafone TV

      • +1

Vodafone TV no longer available unfortunately

Go for new Chromecast with Google TV instead

  • This has USB port so you can watch movies off a hard drive if you want. Vodafone TV was another good cheap option at $72 but that is gone now unfortunately.

    • If you have a hub GGTV does allow you to access USB.

      • Yes but hub is extra $30 or more?

  • Thanks ordered

  • australian plug ……so the power pack has australian pins on it , OR it comes with an australian travel adapter ?

    • This will be euro spec so it will be them 20c travel adapters

  • My mate just bought this and told me the was $67 shipped. Winning!

    • now my girlfriend bought one too. i love this box. i have one and i paid 100+.
