      The same containers are used for their normal sealers as well, so I doubt they'd stop selling them.

Do you have to use their branded bags or does it work with some of the other generic ones?

  I have one, I don't think I would trust the valve to maintain a vacuum under heat. A vacuum sealer would be the way to go, and much cheaper in the long run.
