    Just be aware that they use some kind of EXE wrapper.

    You have 20 hours 28 minutes to download and install it.

    So, these giveaways will usually only install on the day of the deal - you cannot share or install it after that.

      Assuming GOTD has not changed the way its wrapper works, you can find the time-unlimited true installer sitting in your %tmp% directory.

      1. Open a Command Prompt (cmd)

      2. cd %tmp%

      3. dir /a/s *.tmp
        Note all files with extension tmp, or take the opportunity to clear out rubbish with rd /s/q .
        (the . is significant)

      4. Run the wrapper (i.e. double-click) but go no farther

      5. dir /a/s *.tmp
        Anything new?

      6. If no new *.tmp is created, proceed one step with the wrapper and repeat step 5

      7. If some_path\some_name.tmp is created, then you have found the true installer.
        (You can also check the Task Manager. "some_name.tmp" will appear as a running process.)
        copy some_path\some_name.tmp "%homepath%\Desktop\Paragon_Backup_and_Recovery_11_Compact_Setup.exe"
        (The quotation marks are required on XP.)

      8. Cancel the wrapper. Run P_B_a_R_11_C_Setup.exe to check that it works.

      9. Get your key from Paragon. Keep the key and the true installer. Delete the wrapper.

      WinPE recovery media is not included .

      This makes it crippleware that wont be fully functional.

    I'm personally an Acronis True Image guy myself - if you have any Western Digital hard drives, you can get a free cut down version of Acronis True Image WD Edition and its updated regularly too!

    How does this compare to TrueImage say Home or Workstation?
