    Why are you guys the only retailer flagged with "Some users have reported issues with this retailer" on BoardGameOracle.com?

      This guy was proven to have left negative reviews on rival game retailers online profiles without purchasing. Average.

      Also numerous - and I mean a lot - of reports of damaged goods arriving

      • Wow, I did get a damaged box from Gamerholic before (and not just a small dent) - I didn't realise this was widespread. Have never gotten any other package damaged from other sellers.

      Unfortunately, We have some issues around stock inventory management over the last year where we had to cancel a lot of orders.
      This is being remediated over the next month where we will have a proper inventory management system in place.

        I'll edit for fairness - what I have seen on the board game Facebook groups is that it's due to poorly packaged goods.

        It seems like cancelled orders are also an issue.

        I got this response about a year ago after a cancelled order. Suggesting their inventory was not great and saying they would be fixing it in a month or two.

    SO many cancelled orders from this mob. Check the feedback on thier ebay store for more info.

    I've heard enough negative feedback about them to warrant some caution. However I have had a positive experience recently, having ordered Everdell on their eBay store on a Wednesday night (2 weeks ago) and had it delivered by courier in great condition by the Friday morning.

    1. Poor communication on your part
    2. Packages received in a damaged condition

    I want to purchase something, but I’m afraid when it arrives, possibly damaged, customer service will be non existent

    A reply would be appreciated

      Our communication policy is set out by our webstore.
      We operate Sunday to Thursday and respond within 24 business hours unless its in peak period where it might take longer.

      80% of our packaging all comes with boxes externally.

        Again many of you customers have complained about your lack of communication when things go wrong. Despite what you may have written on your webstore

        Simply putting the game in a box does not ensure that damage does not occur
        Is there bubble wrapping/ air pockets?

        PS I have ordered 30 odd games from Amazon and about three (10%) arrived damaged. It was hassle free to get refunds/ replacements.

          Customers complain about lack of communication because customers expect a response within 12 hours or shorter.
          We usually meet our 24business hours response time (from sunday to thursday)

          Most of our boxes are perfect fit for board games except for the small ones.

          If a board game is damaged, you don't pay for return shipping, we will cover it.
          We tend to offer 2-3 options
