    • Any luck with Amex working twice? Seems to have disappeared from my offers after first use

      • Get 15% credit, each time
Your 15% back at brands you love Amex Offer will expire soon. Make an eligible transaction using your American Express® Card ending in 32012 at 15% back at brands you love by 18/10/20 to redeem the offer

        • Yeah it says that but the offer disappears from the "my offers" section of amex so i was pretty sure it wouldn't work

Edit: nope. It's there on desktop. Amex site continues to have bugs on mobile for the offers section

Good luck getting your order any time soon from Toysrus. Myself and others have ordered since 2-3 weeks ago and haven't received order yet. And their CS is far from satisfactory. Almost near to zero response. Phone number unable to get through.

Now you are making me scared. I just ordered two tree houses from Toysrus after reading this post. It is not as easy to get a chargeback like paypal as I used Amex for the 15% off offer.

      • Agreed. Horrible customer service. Just for a simple question we have to wait few days, and the response is to ask mofe days waiting. Wt..!
        This is the template reply:

Due to the high number of enquiries we are receiving at present, up to 2-3 additional days may be experienced in waiting for a response. I apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and I will respond with further information as soon as possible. I thank you for your understanding and courtesy during this unprecedented time.

        • I hope they are not going to do a runner and close down due to the bad economy/covid. I ordered from Hobby warehouse which is their parent company before and they shipped the orders quite quick.

Maybe I got lucky. My order from Toysrus only took 10 days to reach me without drama. I just received mine today.

    Nice name for a website!

What do you mean impossible to find? Plenty in stock at the Lego certified stores in Sydney.

    • +1

Online has been sold out everywhere until now.

That's nice that Sydney has certified Lego stores + stock + no 5km rule. It's quaint that Sydney is the centre of the universe :p

Maybe Lego corp has their own internal values on certain colors based on production limits and the total profit of the set that the bricks are in. Could be this set containing all these brown bricks can't be sold at just any time, the need to wait for their production process to make all the brown bricks and only after their brown brick maker has been put to better use on sets with much higher margins. Or something like that. LEGO corporation must have a crazy spreadsheet or algorithm that tells them what they should be making and when.

      • Well why don't you put impossible to find in Melbourne?

        • -1

Amending title to [WA, NT, SA, QLD, VIC] thanks great suggestion!

          /s

There are other places than Sydney and Melbourne, you know? Hence comment about Sydney being the centre of the universe… yeesh, tough crowd. OOS now though. Shrug.

Not so easy in Melbourne with all stores shut.

  • Got one, thanks!
Missed out on the AMEX targeted offer.

Myer have stock on Treehouse for 1c cheaper.

    • Didn’t check Myer. Should’ve got one from them instead Toysrus for timely delivery.
