This is a good deal. Not as good as the recent new alpinist ones with 6r35 but 4r is not as bad as people say it is.

  • Go sumo, got a newer and better movement that holds upto 70 hrs.

I have quite small wrists and can manage a Samurai, but not a Sumo. I’ve seen this dial in person and it is absolutely stunning.

      • its 43.5 and 13 thick so… my triton measures the same on paper but i think this will wear way larger

    • Lowest I’ve seen the sumo is around $800. Looking forward to delivery of this one. Sumo does look nice and would look good on my 7.5 inch wrist though

      • It looks much smaller than measurement suggests. Like many review noted - whilst heavy, sits nicely on wrist with weight well distributed.

  • Nice watch, but I still can't believe Seiko can't get alignment issues right with the prices they are charging now.. even the display image is a little off.

I agree, i found Citizen are made with more care and attention to detail.

Who else on the planet can make a [non GPS/RADIO] watch that loses 1sec. A YEAR, stunning result Citizen!

Mind you my daily wear is a Orient!

Yes, I have 2 seikos right now, I did have a Samurai before but sold that on because I wasn't happy with the alignment. I am really keen on the Citizen Chronomasters - they would make such a great 'set-and-forget' watch!
