  • I wonder if it is as good as the Epson stylus office TX610SW

  • Does the first cartridge only have a small amount of ink? I remember my last epson printer the cartridge that came with it only printed 2 or 3 photos before it was low on ink.

    • All printer does, the 1st set of inks are 1/2 filled.

    • I think Epson printers come with full ink cartridges. I bought TX550 2 years ago and the initial cartridge last me nearly 1 year. The black one was even 103 instead of 73N. So this is a good deal from my view.

  • Good MFD functionality for the price. Only thing to be aware of is the price and availability of replacement ink.

  • +1

    ink about 22 each
    prolly can find cheaper!

    reveiw from whrilpool in april

I've got this printer, and I like it alot. It's fast to start up, fast to print, scans well, colour reproduction is very good, it can take larger refills, the 4 cartridges that it comes with are full size. All up, seems to be very good.

    • dones145, can you tell me is this printer quiet? I got the TX550 it always gvies a bang at the first move.

      • not quiet

This has been this price before. DS seems to do a number of deals on this printer

You can buy a quality CISS (continuous INK system) from Rihac with ink for around $120, which will give you the equivalent of around 40 cartridges, Or you can search ebay and find cheaper version, no ink for $10

Some better reviews at Amazon (Better = more details) In summary it looks good except, that scanning is not wireless and it cant do two sided printing

  • Ordered, is just a run out model nothing much..

  • It seems that it is a runout model. The new model is WF633. Anyone knows if the printer will use ink during startup ? I would assume that if all the time I use it for scanning, then in no time the ink will run out without me having to print anything. Is my assumption correct ?

    • WF 633 is not a newer model, as I had it a while ago. Just a different model/feature (it has duplex printing and 630 does not from memory) some retailer would have only the 630 others the 633…
but both can use the ink cadriges Epson T140 Extra High Capacity which work out much cheaper than the standard.

    • All inkjets have this "problem" of using up ink without printing. They use the ink to clean themselves,

      like a cat.

  • I bought this last time it was $99, and it has been excellent : )

Wireless printing is solid, and with fax included, it is a great AIO for the price.

  • Cheers op… Just got display unit from Noosa @ $94:)
