  • Are these any good?

    • Yes they are very price competitive.

  • +1

Thanks OP, I had an alert set up for the 5 pack but forgot about the singles.

  • Thanks OP, finally got some. These deals seem to always sell out within an hour or two of posting. Ordered 5 to get free shipping with Prime.

  • The black/black and the black/transparant are so similar it makes me wonder why they even have the two colours? Or are they very different in person?

    • +1

Whilst not in motion, the transparent do look dark but, once in motion, they are obviously transparent so would be good if you want to see past them but wasted in the front of a closed faced pc case.

  • Just got mine from the last deal (8 Oct - expected delivery by 22/10). They came from John F Kennedy in Luxembourg - maybe, like the moon landing, his shooting was faked ????

(Before anyone looks it up, I am aware there is a John F Kennedy Avenue in Luxembourg - it was a tongue in cheek)

  • Whats the difference between P12 PWM PST and just P12?

    • The PWM is variable speed, with a 4 pin plug, whereas the P12 is a constant speed fan with a 3 pin plug.

The PWM fan is also PST, which allows sharing of one PWM signal.

      • 3 pin fans are also speed controllable. Calling a 3 speed fan a constant speed fan is incorrect.

Both are controllable, but do so differently. PWM fans have the benefit of controllability in the lower RPM range. On a functional level, that is basically the only difference.

  • Cheers for the info. Looking for variable speed cooling fans to put on my solar inverter..sounds like I need PWM fans and a PWM controller.

Is this about as cheap as a PWM fan gets?

  • Anyone in the 2560 postcode area and are after any of the 120mm Black variants either PWM or PWM/PST give me a msg as I am only after 2 fans and need to order 5+ to get the free PRIME shipping.

    • There's a "trick" you can do to get free Prime shipping on any Prime items - without spending the required $49 for free Prime shipping.

Add the items you actually want into your cart, then add other Prime items into your cart to go over $49 - but the unwanted items MUST be different from your wanted items. For example, along with your 2 x 120mm fans, add the 5-pack fans in (make sure to hit $49!), then place the order.

Immediately afterwards, cancel the unwanted items (the 5-pack fans), and you'll still get the items you actually wanted (2 x 120mm fans), shipped free - even though the order is now less than $49.

      • thx for that will have a try when they have a few more in stock
