Not sure why noone has posted this deal yet. Shopback is currently having 7% cashback for TCN gift card (increased from 5%) which means you can get TCN Online card which can be swapped for eBay gift card with 7% cashback.

7% cashback is also for JB Hifi and TheGoodGuys as well with TCN Home card.

Notes:

  1. Do not use the GC portal, that will only give 5% cashback. You need to search for "The Card Network" and click through the link to get 7% cashback
  2. From the other post, you need to make sure you select the whole amount of your TCN gift card when you swap it with eBay gift card instead of the default $30 option.
  3. eBay Gift Card maximum denomination is $200 so it is best to buy multiples of $200 TCN Online card instead of multiples of $500's since that forces you to swap to 2x$200 +$100. Ebay has a limit of 8 cards redemption per transaction.

          it's best to get multiple $200 card instead of $500. The maximum ebay denomination is $200 and they ebay has limit of 8 cards redemption per transaction so you can only spend maximum $1600 of ebay gift card per transaction.

          Ebay has also limit of $2000 of gift card redemption per day and $5000 per month.

    Made the purchase of a restaurant E gift card via Shopback app last night. Got tracked at 7% a couple of hours later, but yet to receive a gift card.

    Now the restaurant one regardless of physical or digital has $200 limit. Can't go through the purchase if you try to buy more

      Check your junk email…whilst i got their initial confirmation emails in my usual inbox, the gift cards went to my junk folder.

          I ordered 10 cards last night. The first came in but the rest didn't – I did get an order confirmation though. Checked my spam box this morning and did get emails from tcnpayments at the time of order asking me to confirm my purchase. Perhaps look for that?

          Edit: Rather annoying that I had to make multiple purchases of a single $200 card per transaction. Makes no sense to me.

    I still have not received either purchase notification, gift cards or Shopback tracking after 36 hours, despite credit card showed the $ has been taken by TCN. This is going through the link to TCN web site. Anyone in the same boat? Yep first thing I did was checking my Spam folder, nothing there.

      I hadn't received the digital card details after 4 days, and emailed TCN yesterday. They emailed me back within a few hours, with the links to my cards. After that, it was quite easy to set it up on my phone, and add them to my phone Wallet.

      Though, I am still waiting to hear back from ShopBack on the 7% cashback, as my account is not showing the TCN transactions at all.

        I also emailed them yesterday but hear nothing yet. The TCN cards that I purchased in the Shopback web site came ok. But my other 2 purchases (via Shopback link) inside the TCN web site never came, and it has been 4 days with no contact from TCN. Seems like their web site and/or payment system is quite flaky…

          I know for sure they are manually processing these gift cards because they sent me a single GC for $1000 when I bought 2 x $500. Bought them early friday and received on Sat arvo.

        Sent them an enquiry friday via the online interface/sent them the order confirmation form from TCN, and the CB amount has been changed from $0 to 7%.

        I think they hit a limit for GC. Pretty sure there is some limit for companies due to anti money laundering
