To me I find ZipPay is essentially more in common with my traditional bank account of years long gone by.
My Zip has a $300 limit and I cannot spend more than that, Previously we used to take $300 cash out and the money in the bank was safe. Shopping and entertainment came from the $300 in pocket. later multiple accounts, but this became confusing and easy to transfer to waste due to the banks improvements in instant online transfers.
I also like the single use disposable credit card numbers that Zip lets me use for those small online dodgy sites like pizza hut :), this reduces my risk from retails retaining my CC number as many do.
It is a competitor to Visa and Mastercard, whom make x% off each sale you make, presumably Zip and Afterpay also do that.
And unlike Visa/Mastercard/Amex etc Zip Co Limited is believe is listed on ASX as Australian ?

Did anyone sucessfully pay with Zippay? It doesnt allow me to pay with Zippay with an error message "Something went wrong please choose another payment method".
I had the same message pop up (like 20 times) and now it says my order went through despite the error message and no confirmation at checkout… strange.
Edit: made a second order and recieved confirmation. Both my orders have shown up in my account and none of the failed orders are there, so it works now!

Yep checkout process remains borked - tried on NBN, Telstra Mobile network, Optus Mobile network (using different browsers and devices). Tried earlier in the day as well, error persists
While some have been able to get through, the fact that so many different users are reporting the same problem indicates a problem with either Zip or Pizza Hut rather than only an internet connection issue.
Someone needs to fix this before they run the next promo, waste of time so far
Zip replied to me on their Facebook post on this pizza hut deal "this deal is only valid on the website and any issues email zip blah bla blah or call xxxx" and 20 mins later they deleted the entire post lmao

@SydOzber: since zip pay failed. if you choose single card use, the method will get you through zip payment, but the way of payment will not get you track on shopback for 50% cashback today.

You have to contact Zip Pay to get $10. Using a single use card does not qualify for cashback automatically.
