  • You will need to get in quick. No, not because it will be ozbargained but because they will have discharged themselves by the time they arrive. Best give them as Xmas presents, I have my Xmas hate list prepared already.

Here for the 'disposable battery' comments.

You know when you buy disposable AA’s and get a couple out of a pack and realise ‘holy crap these weigh nothing’.

Comments from politicians hold more weight, if someone could help me with an analogy for just how utterly sh*t these are.

    • U mean the type that literally squash when u squeeze them firmly?

  • Thought Kodak was defunct these days.

    • Licensed out their brand. As it still has brand “recognition” by some people.

Many other brands do this as you thought they were “dead”

      • Anybody know who the owner of the Kodak brand name for batteries is nowadays?
I know the paper and chemistry business was sold to a Chinese company called Sino Promise.

In reading reviews of the Kodak single use batteries they do not fare well.

As an aside, here is a list of the better known TV brand names sold off to third parties.

A lot of positive and negative reviews.. For those of us who love killing the environment (blah blah) the tried and trusted varta are in the same price range.

      Luke, I am your Varta

  • Lots of reviews on Amazon from Adult Toy users for these batteries.

do not buy!! can confirm, they are pretty much useless!! they dont even last 2 weeks in my tv remote which with Energizer ones in last 1 year!! i constantly have to swap them out.
honestly, i cant wait to use them all just to be rid of them!!
