          • @dadgamer: 1595246 order on another forum, also cancelled, that meahs they potential took in excess od $100,000 worth of orders they wont be filling.

            • @dadgamer: Shit, that's bad, mine is 15956xx

              • @ozbdude: Mine's 15957xx! Still showing pending but perhaps they're manually having to cancel each…

              • @ozbdude: Mine was 1595216 and got cancelled, after receiving email that confirmed without ETA and Pending

            • @dadgamer: which forum? reddit?

              • @kehuehue: Overclockersau

                • @dadgamer: ugh looks like if you call and ask them, high chance they will say cancelled

does it say cancelled in your account page online?

                  • +1

@kehuehue: yup. cancelled and have to wait for a refund. looks like im going to wait till next year now, not gonna stress out and play these games again. i did it for a 3080, now for a 6800xt. not worth the hassle

                    • @dadgamer: Strange - mine still says Pending (just checked again at 11:45am Friday). So I'm still keeping my fingers crossed.

                      • @RichardMelbourne: be interesting to see if they cancel everyone who calls, in the hope of holding on to the other orders till stock arrives. they sold, if orders are anything to go by, 500gpus +, if they are only getting a limited ammount, it could potentially take a couple of months to fill the orders. be very interesting.

                        also……..

                        • @dadgamer: I was hoping to have it by next week to stick in my son's new gaming PC… Might have to borrow my 1660 Super until I can get a 6800 XT

                      • @RichardMelbourne: Just received this :(

                        Dear Customer,

                        Good day.

Thank you for your interest in the new AMD RX 6000 series graphics cards. Unfortunately, due to extremely limited stock and the ‘limited-production’ nature of these Reference design cards, we are unable to fulfill your order, and as a result, will be forced to cancel your order and issue a full refund. Please allow 3-5 business days for the refund to be reflected in your account.

As a gesture of good faith for the inconvenience caused, you will be automatically placed in a priority notification queue when the vendor customised AMD RX 6000 graphics cards become available in the coming weeks. We will contact you to confirm your interest and update you when we know more about these cards and their availability. However, please be aware that stock may continue to be limited into 2021 and that the pricing of these partner designed cards will likely differ.

Thank you for your interest, and we greatly appreciate your understanding.

                        • @RichardMelbourne: There'll be some nice AIB cards coming out, if you get dibs on them, its a better deal that what I got chasing the 3080 dragon and you might still get yours before I get mine…

                          • @jonathonsunshine: We'll see - I might just end up in the next frenzy for "10" video cards…

                            • +1

@RichardMelbourne: I ended up buying an Asus 3070 (in stock) for my son. He should benefit from things like the streaming stuff and should be fine with it on his 1440 monitor. Bought it from Scorptec but couldn't use the money from the 6800XT as refund not yet processed…

                        • @RichardMelbourne:

What the heck does that mean, I got the same crappy email

    • That is so strange! My order is 15958** and I got my shipping notification today! And my order time was 1:15

      • also depends on the model you ordered, i think a large ammount of people ordered sapphire, which one did you go for?

        • Just picked at random, got the gigabyte 6800.

          • +1

@nodeahs: ah that may be part of it, i think the biggest part of the rush was for 6800 xt

      • Order 1595216, MSi, and got cancelled, yes, for a 6800XT. Guess there were more 6800 than 6800xt

        • Got lucky in that Gigabyte seemed to be in stock first as well, other brands were up to 4 weeks away.

Just seen these run hot AF, wise men say only fools rush in.

    • +3

      Nah, Elvis said that…

      • +1

yeah, and whilst he was talking about a girl, the translation of this analogy suggests he bought one of those cards anyway. He couldn't help himself.

  • Anyone know when AIBs are coming?

    • +1

      Nov 25

      • That's what I read too but seems like only 1 article is quoting this date.

Fingers crossed so that probably means 1amish 26th Nov aest

        • I just went to my local store and they said no ETA, and possibly delayed to early next month. Not sure how credible though

  • Looks like a bunch of Asrock 6800's will be coming in at Scorptec tomorrow. I went to cancel my order and they told me it'll be available for pickup tomorrow. Still shows as pending on my order status though. For the record, I ordered my 6800 at 1:09 so I don't think this particular card was in demand as much as the others.

  • Typo in related product for 6900 XT, "radron"

    • +1

      Reported to mod and fixed.

  • So those that will be playing f5 roulette tonight… which car are you going for? im loooking at the 6800xt gaming trio, would be interested in teh red devil, but the side view of the card is a bit arse for the premium it will cost

    • +2

      Good luck this time, mate!

      • Thanks, i have a feeling ill need it lol

        • +1

What time is launch time for these cards? Where can we see which cards are coming out tonight? I missed out on the 3080, and the 6800 XT last week - hoping to secure something soon!

          • +1

@mrkookz: theres a few vids and photos floating around, and the launch is the same as last time, 1am 26th depending where you are in aus. i belive there will be more options this time, but will sell out just as quickly.

            • @dadgamer: apparently prices rumoured to be around 1400-1500+, I may as well go for a 3080..

              • @chew_chew: ive heard a little lower then that, but i wont be going over 1250, will see what comes up.

                • +2

@dadgamer: mine got cancelled too. there seems to be zero indication on twitter or fb about AIBs in AU tonight, what makes you think it will happen 1pm 26th?

                  • +1

@kehuehue: 1am 26th, as it was announced by AMD that aib cards would be released 7 days after the reference versions release. Im struggling to find more info though, so either they have quietly delayed it, or keeping it quiet to avoid a rush. Either way, im gonna be online hitting the f5 key. on the plus side though, reviewers willl have the NDA lifted then too, so even if it doesnt happen, i can watch some reviews before bed lol

                  • +2

@chew_chew: cheapest was the reddevil for 1299. at that price ill just go 3080.

                    Next year.

                    • +3

@dadgamer: Id rather go rtx at those prices (if id ever throw that sorta cash on video cards)

  • Anyone know when AIBs for RX 6900 XT will be launched?
