I just got done sinking about 40 hours into The Forest. A highly enjoyable, if somewhat rough-around-the-edges (it is made by 4 people), survival adventure game (not really much of a horror game) and an excellent co-op game with a group of 3 or 4. The late game becomes a thoroughly fun sandbox like Rust where you can just build huge fortresses, towns or any structure you can envision and defend it from endless waves of cannibals and mutants.
It's currently 55% off on Steam too, which is as low as it gets historically.
