    The DX-390 is $129 at HT, Whereas you are selling the 380 (earlier model).I have been using it for the last 2 days and am impressed for the price it has flawlessy unpacked some huge 3d iso's etc.

    How does the eljo best price policy work for the DX-390 model?

    Edit: the 380 is 119 at HT without postage

          Thanks, other have pointed out this is cheaper elsewhere, newever version only 10 bux more? also its 5% of the difference,
          5% of 20 bux…works out like a buck, we'll beat it by $1! would rather walk into a harris technology i think.

          it works out a $141 delivered to Adelaide for the dx390…. so only $2 more than this deal, but for the newer model

      Miki, does this DX-390 record subtitle? What is your general feeling with this model? I am tempted to get one.

        I am not sure if it records subtitle, that is a great question though.

        Mainly used the noontec and dvico pvr's and some seagate media players, this is as good but cheaper and more features. I didnt expect it to play some files ie 3d iso but it has.

        for the price and having dual tuner and media player nas etc its hard to beat.

        The remote layout is simple and doesnt feel as cheap as some others, it is still a cheap remote though

        Astone has similar devices for close to same pricing, but i have never liked the interface

      You can record from external video sources via the Composite Input. This includes devices like Pay TV boxes, Gaming Consoles, Video Cameras and more.

          it is only standard def recording when recording from an external video source. HD recording from inbuilt HD tuner.
          You would have to spend a lot more than this to find HD recording from external video source in a PVR.

          The supplier has responded saying. "The AV input records at 480i resolution in MPEG format"

          no mention of bitrate or GB's per hour. I requested more information on this. Will follow up accordingly.

      The player is Full HD for multimedia playback. And the inbuilt tuner is HD so you can record in HD from live TV.

          The unit is compatible with 3.5" SATA Hard Drives up to 2TB. This particular item does not come with one included, allowing you to install whichever size you like.

    Sorry, have to negged this. Someone has pointed lower price, yet you won't lower your price and hassle us to email you, call you etc to get lower price? This is a a bargain site, not advertising site…

        The reason we cannot change the blanket price is because our price beat guarantee policy includes delivery. Delivery to different parts of Australia costs different amounts on both our site and the compeititor's site. Therefore we need to assess what the price we are beating is on a case-by-case basis.

          Ben, the bargain is available to everyone. It was only after posting it that we realised HT beat us to the punch. Had we have realised that they were also selling it at these prices, it would not have been posted.

          Having realised that they are slightly cheaper than us, we are happy to meet our price beat guarantee - the policies of which require each customer to contact us to find out their price based on delivery location (because delivery is included in the price). Everyone can request the price beat, and we will price beat for everyone, based on their delivery location and the compared delivered price from ourselves and HT.

          The fact that there are 2 companies offering the same (or close) bargain price, doesn't make it not a good deal. It means there are 2 places to get the good deal from.

    The newer (current) model DX-390 is EXACTLY the same as the Astone Media Gear MP-310 which is only $114.50 at uMart. Newer model has extra features over the DX-380, but, regrettably, no AV in.
