Have you created a new account? I found that they didn't migrate previous app accounts to the new system…
If I hit register, it says ERROR A02.
@itsfree: Yeah, it's the fact that I can even get to the screen to input my details. When I click, "I have an account" or "Register", the next screen goes to ERROR A02.

@itsfree: you may need phone with later version version of Android. I think 7/11 is only making app available for new phones so people don't use their old phones as well.
Same. It's been like this for weeks and even the latest update hasn't fixed it. V annoying.
@smifter: I used to use the old app for fuel lock all the time (and bought the lion's share of my fuel from 7-11). It worked really well.
Then they released the new version of the app several months ago and I just couldn't get it to work. Consequently I have kind of drifted away from using 7-11. Not deliberately but without the psychological association of using the locked petrol I've not automatically been going in. I wonder how many other people like me have just drifted away …
They changed the password requirements for whatever reason.
Sounds a bit like the error I used to have, only for the people on the Virgin network. Couldn't access anything for 2 years on my contract

Giving up this 7-Eleven app. I had an account with them. Now I can't log in (forgot password), I can't register with the same email address, and I can't reset the password….all came back with error.

I agree 100%, so most of the time I just order wicked wings or original recipe chicken, and fries if I am feeling like it.
My friends say a lot of good things about the angus beef burgers at maccas, but my OzBargain-ness doesn't allow me to splurge as much an a burger so I haven't even tried it yet. Maybe give that a try?

Correct, the app is much better than it used to be - just scan your "My Card" barcode for any and all deals.
Also, the fuel price lock no longer requires you to have money stored/loaded onto your 7 eleven account.
Just press the lock button just as petrol prices are starting to go up, then you have a week to get your petrol at that cheaper price.Removal of the requirement of having credit against your account was a change that surprised me the most. I recall comments saying that feature was an easy cash grab for 7-11 given they're receiving a decent cash injection in advance which is always welcomed for most businesses. Not complaining that this is no longer applicable though.

I'd prefer they did the BYO cup day again this year, but I guess with the whole situation as it is, I get it.
Are you sure they wont accept your own cups. Especially if your dispensing the coffee yourself.
