Just saw this in the Shopback email. Look for the deal under "Challenges" in the Shopback app. No promo code required.

Purchase the ebay gift card via the TCN Online Card = $3 bonus plus $2.50 normal cashback = $5.50 cashback on $50 gift card. 11% isn't too shabby!

Or purchase a $5 JB Hifi gift card = $3 bonus plus $0.15 normal cashback = $3.15 (63%).

I've purchased a few cards already and had no issues. The cashback for gift cards tracks almost instantly and is redeemable within a couple of days. Cashback that is redeemable can be used to purchase gift cards.

        OzBargainers get what they deserve supporting a company with some super-shady, behaviour.

          The entire problem is if we negative vote one company actually honest and transparent about their breach, we should neg every company that has ever had a breach or violation of trust/safety/security.

          That being said, I got a $5 JB Gift card as I could use my cashback to pay for it and not my card.

              Either ban all the companies or ban none of them.

          But the scope of this data breach including phone numbers and credit card details is crazy to me.

          It should be a blanket ban.

          There are hundreds of us receiving automated calls, and I'm honestly tired of submitting reports to CBA and the ATO…

            @Telios: Just a correction, there is no mention of credit card details being leaked as they weren't even collecting those details at the time of the breach.

            Also even the big players like eBay and Amazon have had data breaches in the past, should we ban those companies too? Not saying you are wrong, but doesn't make sense to selectively ban one company but not numerous others equally bad.

        Not entirely correct. You need to make a purchase first to link the gift card to your account, there's no other way to link/redeem it. Once it's linked then it will show up in future purchases and cannot be redeemed on any other eBay account.

    Warning I bought TCN gift cards though the ShopBack app but cashback didn’t track. I followed the instructions exactly but when I reported the missed cash back I was still denied by TCN.

          nah i bought 2000$ worth at one time but the biggest denomination is 200$ and max 10 of them.

          Get the 200$ because they convert to 200$ ebay gift cards. There are limits to how many of them u can put them if u buy very expensive items.

            Even when I click 'See Voucher', it goes to the TCN page to the Digital Redemption Form with a Card No already entered and pin already entered, so I hit Submit and it doesnt work. "Sorry you have insufficient balance to proceed"

              @graceyym: That means you already claimed the eBay/whatever voucher (provided your contact details) and should have got an email from The Card Network. If you haven't got an email maybe you should contact them. I got my email with eBay code within 10 minutes.

      The $2.50 is the cashback from the purchase itself. The $3 bonus on top of that is tracked separately within 48 hours of the $2.50 being confirmed.

    I've just purchased a $100 Online gift card but when I tried to select the retailer, how come there is no option to choose eBay? only Showpo., Tiger Mist, Surtstitch, Princess Polly, ASOS, Adore Beauty, Beginining Boutique and Zanui are available.

    I got a very fast response today to an email I sent to TCN about my gift card not being received. Surprised I thought their customer service was supposed to be poor. Their phones aren’t open today but staff are answering emails.
