  • Good deal WHEN hotelclub has the hotel you're looking for at the best rate.

Shame it's for New HotelClub Rewards members only

  • "Some hotels require 10% deposit paid to HotelClub at booking, and balance paid to hotel at check-in, member Rewards can only be used to pay deposit"
does it mean that you can only pay 10% and not more before check-in?

    • correct. You will only be able to use the voucher to pay for 10% of the cost of the hotel. This is normally only the case with smaller independent hotels (e.g. pensiones in Italy)

  • Can I use the credits to pay full for my booking?

  • Somewhat suss! I buy a voucher, join hotelclub and then get a message stating I am a member and your points are available to use. In that email is my email id and password yet when I logon with these details it states 'user not a member'. Hmmmmmmmmmmm

    • same here.. maybe we need to wait for their systems to update our details because im being told my email is not on their database so it doesnt seem to be a problem with the password.

  • I purchased the deal and when I tried to login, Hotel Club gave me this Error message " The e-mail and password you have entered do not match. Please try again " .

The worst thing is when I tried to request a new password, it gave me this message " Sorry, the e-mail address that you have entered is not listed in our member database. Please check your email address and enter it again "

We are talking about $50 not $5…. makes me wonder is this another Oz thongs case ?

Has anyone tried calling Hotel Club to sort this out? This is their phone number:

Hotel Club Bookings & Customer Support:
    24 Hours, 7 Days
    (02) 8263 5111 (Local)
    (02) 9262 7749 (Local)

This is ridiculous, because as a new customer, is not a good first impression of Hotel Club.

  • same same (again) and I got 2 vouchers from different email addresses. Both 'confirmed' memberships do not accept the password they sent. I will be calling them-I fly out on Monday-not using the vouchers for this-and want to confirm my hotels with them next Feb. They are not the cheapest-try wego.com to campare-but hotelclub price guarantee is: book n pay with us and within 24hrs you find cheaper. email and we will refund the difference. So, check their price-use your search engines to find cheaper. book with them, then send an email to advise you found cheaper.

  • Guys GOOD NEWS! The way to do is simply to go to their website and this Live Chat window popped out automatically.

I told them that I want to book a hotel right now, they asked me the hotel name, dates and number of guests. When they asked for my Hotel Club account ID (my email address), I told them that I can't login. At that moment, they knew that I have a "Groupon code" straightaway

The Hotel Club customer service officer was really willing to help me, by asking his supervisor to enter the Groupon code manually while I was still chatting with them.

Then BOOM! I got my $100 credit :)

No need to call, just do a live chat with them….be patient while chatting with them because it does take about 30 minutes for them to apply the code to your account. It seems that Patience is really a virtue when it comes to getting a cheap hotel :)
