  • Is this meant for PC only? As there is mac icon on the ad (I am opening the link on my phone)

Also, I suspect they will provide a steam code?

    Thanks

You might want to check on the full website in a computer browser. They have a Support article about Mac OS 10.15 no longer supporting 32-bit programs, so would be worth checking out first. The game listing may also answer your question about a Steam key.

Edit: I looked it up on a PC in a full browser and the bundle listing doesn't have any more details, but if you go into the individual listings for each one there is a 'Supported OS' box under the game details. It didn't specify that these won't run on Mac OS 10.15 due to being 32-bit only (for either of them) so I can only assume they should be fine. And, yes, they are delivered as Steam keys, so you'd be downloading and launching through the Steam platform. Since that's now pretty mature on Mac there's a high chance they'll work just fine.

At the end of the day, you'd only be out-of-pocket ~$4 if they didn't work. But, if they did work then you'd have a couple of great games to keep you entertained for the price of a decent coffee. Win!

PC means Personal Computer, NOT Windows.

  • thank you! :)

How many people still playing TL2?

    • +1

Still about 1000 concurrent players at any given time of the day just on steam, but most players play via the official game client, so the actual number would be much higher than that.

But it's basically meaningless because the game is singleplayer in every regard and fully moddable to a community supported standard probably only the likes I've ever seen of what Skyrim's mod community looks like.

I noticed I got both games free with Epic store.

Yes, they were both free over the last year.
One of them was also free on GOG before.

Totally banging game, Torchlight II is superior and excellent.

Very misleading RRP for both games but great Diablo clones nonetheless.

    • Very misleading RRP for both games

Not at all. I actually bought Torchlight II shortly after release and paid $25 for it. I can also say it was worth every penny…I played it through at least twice and then proceeded to play through most of the bonus levels after that, too. At this price it's a superb deal.
